What's New at Flavor Burst...
Frozen Carbonated Beverage SystemWith very little modification, an FCB (frozen carbonated beverage) machine can be modified to serve multiple flavors from one barrel! It only takes a touch of a button, and you can have your desired flavors. What if you want more than one flavor in a serving, simply select whatever flavors you wish, and the Flavor Burst FCB machine will layer the serving for an attractive appearance and good flavor intensity. The FCB machine uses the same flavors as the other FB 80S machines, so you'll find a rather wide-variety of flavors available. Each machine will hold up to 8 flavors at a time. What about the base mix? Most customers use a somewhat neutral base such as Sprite or Sierra Mist, but others use an unflavored neutral mix. For more information regarding this product, please see our FCB page. Metal Injector HeadImprovements are always being made to existing equipment to ruggedize our equipment. Recently, we've begun to ship a metal injector head as the standard head for all soft-serve machines. The new part number for the head is INJ 422. A modified injector manifold (INJ 201a) is also required for many installations. Candy Chopper for CrunchiCreme MachinesBy popular request, we have designed a heavy-duty candy chopper that has the ability to chop candies, cookies and various nuts. The chopper was designed with a custom-made motor for high capacity chopping. The product it produces meets the specifications required for ingredients in the CC8 machine. Cooling Hood for CrunchiCreme MachinesIn many food service establishments, the ambient temperature can fluctuate greatly. We have found that to optimize the consistency of the ingredients within the CC8 machine, it is necessary to keep the candies cool and dry. Therefore, we have developed a cooling hood that sits on top of the candies. With this cooling hood, it is possible to keep the candies at an acceptable temperature even in an ambient temperature of 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This is accomplished without the need of a compressor or coolant. FB80D Soft Serve ModelThe new FB 80D Model incorporates all the enhancements that define our other current models. However, it has many new features, including a lower height profile, a front door that slides into the top of the cabinet, and an integrated sanitizer bottle that remains hidden inside the cabinet. The electronics box (see on top of the unit) is designed to be remoted. Of course, it also includes the newly designed keypad to allow for various serving sizes, independent syrup flow settings, etc. In addition to all these great features, the number of external screws has been greatly reduced. FB 80LPa Soft Serve "Low Profile" ModelThis model closely resembles our 4-flavor junior machines, but there is a slight difference. This machine is short enough to fit under a standard crown-series cabinet. In other words, there is no need for additional countertop space as the entire machine is hidden under the soft-serve machine. Tubing and wiring can be routed into the freezer to provide a cleaner installation. The sanitizer tank also fits alongside the machine in the cabinet. This model is only available in a 4-flavor version. ELE 550 Newly Designed KeypadThis new keypad and EPROM is designed to work with the FB 80 soft serve and shake line of machines. With the addition of this programming change and keypad, the user will have a more intuitive interface for programming the machine through the use of clearly-defined icons. Also, the user will be able to program timed servings for three different sizes to ensure accurate serving sizes. The pumps shut off automatically after pre-defined times, and an audible beep tells the operator when to stop serving. This allows for the purging of the syrup shortly after the pumps stop delivering syrup, helping to reduce carryover from serving to serving. In addition, the operator will also be able to establish syrup flow rates for each individual flavor, allowing for accurate consistency of flavor and appearance on a per-flavor basis. Other features are added such as serving counter reset, and easier programming of the interval time between flavors in a multi-flavored serving. |
