New smoothie programs are now available using frozen beverage flavoring systems from Flavor Burst to inject concentrated flavorings throughout the finished product as it's dispensed. Now operators can serve 8 or more flavors from a single smoothie mix-- with no additional blending! Just how does this program work? Like other Flavor Burst frozen beverage programs, the operator complements a popular frozen beverage freezer with a suitable Flavor Burst add-on flavoring system. (A few examples are shown at right.) The base product used in the program is not available from Flavor Burst Company because there may be a variety of mixes available. It is important that the base mix used is reasonably neutral (such as vanilla) so that it is compatible with a wide variety of flavors. We recommend the Frostline D595 Smoothie Base by Precision Foods. (Follow the related link below for more information.) When using the Frostline D595 Smoothie Base, prepare the base mix for use with your freezer as directed. With the appropriate Flavor Burst add-on system installed, the operator is able to draw both the standard 'vanilla' smoothie as usual... or flavor the finished product as it is dispensed at the touch of a few buttons! |
